About Us

We've got a squad of 18+ players who regularly turn up to play. We offer structured rugby skills training, as well as fixtures against other teams in Hertfordshire, Essex, Middlesex & Bedfordshire (minis' league). In addition, we also enter County and National competitions generally culminating with an end of season tour to some far off, exotic land!

We cater for children of all abilities - whether they have been playing to a high standard with lots of ability and experience, right the way through to those who have never picked up a rugby ball before. Our ethos is Fun, Fun, Fun - there's plenty of time for them to develop into the next International, rugby superstar of the future!

Training & Playing

We usually train and play every Sunday morning. All 'home games' are played at our ground at the bottom of Byng Road and training starts at 10am. When we have away fixtures, we advise parents in advance (most games are reasonably local), communicating through this Pitchero website. You can see all our fixtures under 'Fixtures & results'. We usually play a match against the opposition and then look to run some mixed training, to ensure skills are developing throughout the playing season.

We also offer training on Thursday evenings, from 7.00 pm to 8.15 pm.
Please ensure your child has some rugby boots and a mouth guard.

Getting involved

If you would like your child to play fun rugby with a great bunch of players (and coaches!), you are very welcome to join us. You can just turn up on Sunday morning (or Thursday evening) and give it a go. There is absolutely no pressure. They can join in for the first few weeks (at the start or at any time during the season) to see if they like it.
